Kindred Ground - Terms + Conditions

Welcome to Kindred Ground. By using our services, booking classes, or purchasing memberships, you agree to the following terms. These policies are designed to keep things clear, fair, and grounded in care for our community and our space.

1. General Use

  • Our offerings are for individuals aged 16 and over unless stated otherwise.

  • Participation in movement classes is at your own risk. Please listen to your body and seek support when needed.

  • We ask for respect — for our instructors, fellow members, and the shared space we hold together.

2. Class Bookings & Attendance

  • All classes must be booked in advance through our online system.

  • Classes require a minimum of 3 participants to run. If fewer are signed up, the class may be cancelled.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 1 hour before class to avoid a fee.

  • A $5 no-show fee will be charged if you miss a class without notice.

3. Memberships

  • Memberships renew monthly unless cancelled.

  • You may cancel your membership at any time after your chosen commitment term is complete.

  • If you cancel before your commitment term ends, your pricing will be adjusted to reflect the closest completed term. You’ll be charged the difference in rates as an early cancellation fee.

    • Example: If you signed up for a 6-month plan at $125/month and cancel after 4 months, we’ll adjust your rate to our 4-month plan at $140/month, and charge the difference retroactively.

  • Membership pauses are only available for extended travel or medical reasons. Please contact us to arrange a pause.

4. Class Passes

  • Class passes are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

  • If your pass expires, you can reactivate it for $25 — and we’ll include a bonus class as a welcome back.

  • Already had a pass with Aura? Create your new Kindred Ground account and send us a note — we’ll transfer your remaining classes over.

5. Events & Workshops

  • All event and workshop purchases are final.

  • If you’re unable to attend, reach out in advance — we may be able to offer credit depending on the timing and situation.

6. Returns & Credits

  • All purchases are non-refundable.

  • If something unexpected comes up, we may be able to offer a credit toward future offerings. Please contact us to discuss.

7. Privacy & Data Use

  • We collect only the information necessary to provide our services (like scheduling and communication).

  • We will never sell or share your personal data.

8. Right to Refuse Service

  • We reserve the right to refuse service or revoke memberships if a client’s behaviour is harmful, disruptive, or disrespectful to our community or staff.
